(1) Printing paper thickness/weight

What does the gram of paper represent? Is an A4 size 250g glossy cardboard 250g? In fact, the 250g of the 250g glossy cardboard means that the weight of the glossy paper per square meter is 250g.

For example, the calculation method for the weight of 1 sheet of 250g glossy powder paper in A4 size is: 1x (0.21 × 0.297) x 250, that is, the weight of 1 A4 glossy powder card is about 15.592 g.

(2) Printing paper thickness

The thickness of each type of paper is different, which is basically determined by the weight and density of the paper, so different paper types have different thicknesses under different paper weights. Even with the same paper quality and weight, the thickness of the paper will vary due to environmental changes.

Generally speaking: sheet thickness of 128g glossy powder paper is 0.10~0.12mm; sheet thickness of 157g glossy powder paper is 0.14~0.16 mm; sheet thickness of 250g glossy powder paper is 0.23~0.24 mm; single sheet thickness of 128g matte powder paper 0.12 ~ 0.13 mm; 157g matte paper sheet thickness is 0.16 ~ 0.17 mm; 250g matte powder paper sheet thickness is 0.24 ~ 0.26 mm; 80g book paper sheet thickness is 0.1 ~ 0.11 mm; 100g book paper sheet thickness 0.11 ~ 0.12 mm; 100g kraft paper sheet thickness is 0.12mm; 150g kraft paper sheet thickness is 0.17mm.
